This is me, hi!

What doI do?

I come from a traditional journalism and broadcast background, writing for national papers, editing magazine features, and producing commercial talk radio.

I’ve done everything from researching entertainment features for daytime TV, to interviewing families about sensitive life stories, and directing rolling news during elections and terror attacks.

Now, I produce podcasts, write articles, and speak on stages, telling stories and sharing knowledge in a way that (if I’ve done my job well) makes you laugh, cry, think, and rethink.

Ok but who am I?

An ambitious, compassionate, passionate, disciplined, intuitive, loyal old soul, energised by independence and deep connection with people, places, and wild nature, obsessed with Formula 1, water, musical theatre, dogs, Shakespeare, longevity, sci-fi films, hotel cocktail bars, climbing mountains, thriller novels, ambient lighting, philosophy, functional fitness, and the smell of flickering flames.

If you can’t find me I’ll either be out adventuring with my incredibly handsome German Shepherd, Kylo, or at the gym.

  • Anouszka makes delivering smart and engaging audio look easy (it isn't!). She's organised, efficient, detail-oriented, and has a natural talent for understanding the DNA of a brand which she then fiercely protects. She's a joy to work with.

Ellie Smith – Liz Earle Wellbeing editorial director

  • Anouszka is brilliant. She’s technically adept and creatively savvy. Super-efficient organising recording sessions, lovely with podcast guests and all-in-all a joy to work with. In fact, if you asked me to think of a bad thing to say I’d be completely stumped – and I’m not often lost for words. She should know: she’s a dab hand at editing too.

Graeme Hall – Presenter – Talking Dogs with Graeme Hall

  • Working with Anouszka has been a joy; she is so lovely and sweet, as well as creative and utterly efficient. Thanks for the memories. It’s been the most enormous pleasure.

Richard and Judy – The Richard and Judy Book Club presenters

  • Right from the start, Anouszka just 'got it' and made the whole process an absolute joy. She comes with a huge wealth of podcasting, journalistic and technical experience and has a brilliant ability to listen to what you want to achieve and take you through the whole process, step by step; including creating project plans, recommending studio locations, drafting scripts and liaising with everyone involved sensitively and professionally, regardless of whether she was talking to patients, crew members or celebrities. Anouszka was able to pull everything together seamlessly, with incredible attention to detail, on time and to budget.

PHILIPPA ESSON - LONDON’S AIR AMBULANCE MARKETING MANAGER - PICKING UP THE PIECES

  • Anouszka is a dream producer, she really listens and totally understands even the most niche audience for a podcast. She gets to the most important bits of a podcast: the stories, the heart, the narrative that you can feel in your gut. Anouszka goes above and beyond her role as a producer, and is always open to exploring thematic and emotional angles in your audio. My favourite bit about working with Anouszka is how she is so intuitively (it’s beautiful to experience!) helps you weave a compelling podcast and connect with your audience.

Sangeeta Pillai – Creator and presenter – Masala Podcast

  • It is no exaggeration to say that Anouszka is the best producer I’ve ever worked with. Meticulous on the detail, hard-working, creative and thoughtful, she brought a full set of skills to the table on our podcast projects at Orion. She is brilliantly collaborative but equally happy to be left to get on with projects and take control. I trusted her implicitly on everything we did and without doubt the success of our projects was in large part thanks to her creative input and brilliant skill working with talent. She lives and breathes podcasts and understands the market and the medium inside out. She is simply an absolute joy and I can’t wait to work with her on something again.

ALICE LLOYD - ORIGINAL AUDIO AT ORION - MAKING THE CHANGE / GILES YEO CHEWS THE FAT

  • Anouszka’s work on Project Pleasure smashes those rather British taboos surrounding sex, relationships and intimacy. She is currently making some of the most important and timely audio I’ve heard in ages and she makes it so blooming well.

NICOLE LOGAN - TRANSMISSION ROUNDOUSE STATION MANAGER - PROJECT PLEASURE

  • Anouszka is the perfect producer: pro-active, passionate about our show, and with great attention to detail. I’m always immensely impressed by her good humour and unflappability in our fast moving world of live radio, and value her advice and skills. Plus she’s great company.

LUCY BERESFORD - LBC SEX AND RELATIONSHIPS SHOW PRESENTER

  • Anouszka is an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s super organised, efficient, professional, encouraging, flexible and most importantly helped us to create a brilliant podcast with incredible reviews.

Let’s chat

Working with me in audio, the only obstacle you might stumble upon is struggling to pronounce my name for the end credits*. But if that’s the only negative you come away with, I would suggest that’s a relatively good day at the office, so if you fancy a chat about a production, writing, or speaking project drop me a message.

*seriously, a number of my presenters have struggled to get their tongues around 'the producer, Anouszka', all independently coming out with 'The Produshka'...
